Blogging, organic skincare and the learning curve...2
I love creating new and interesting possibilites. My passion for helping others has somehow led me to this path and I am so very grateful! I certainly wouldn't have guessed that what started out as a struggle to find answers to my illness, my struggle to survive, would heave led me here. But here I am.
It has not been an easy path but I know in my heart that it is the right one. What I have learned has been a blessing. These are the tools I have been given to learn from, to learn with and to share with others.
Writing is so intensely personal, and I realize that part of what has been "in the way" has been fear. That little four letter word that creeps in at the most inopportune moments. Anne ( who is absolutely the most amazing support team all on her own- not to mention the awesomest webdesigner on the planet Anne@redtoadmedia.net ) calls it the resistance (lol) and I absolutely love that because now, whenever I feel
that hesitation wanting to creep in, I recognize it as the resistance. It has a name ( which, incidently, always makes me smile as I picture my thoughts coming together in protest) that allows me to recognize it.
As females I feel we have all understood the pressure to "get it right". What I have since learned is that if not used properly- that self imposed pressure can lead to doubt, hesitation and inaction. It's really powerful to take a step back from that and realize that the choice is always ours. To act or not act.
For that very reason- I have chosen to act. To create, to live, to laugh, to love and to share.
I am learning so much about (and from) amazing women who find the courage to live out loud.
Thank you- to all the women who inspire us all to take that next step.
Thank you to some of the amazing women who inspire me-
My mom- the courage and the strength that you embody has given me the strength and tenacity to chase my dreams.
Jennifer- you are an amazing and strong woman and watching that emerge is AWESOME!!
Nancy- yes, it is true I am a dork :) lol- and thank you for being the most amazing of friends!
Anne- my gosh- None of this would be if it wasnt for the possibility you see and encourage in me!
BobbieRose- BoobieP-Miriam B, Cassie Strom and Diane Hochman- who are some of the most inspiring women ever.
Lastly, but most certainly not the least- I'd like to thank my beautiful daughter Amanda. It is because of you that I am so inspired to make this world Beyond Beautiful! I love you.
You guys all create a picture that helps me to reach out to pursue my dreams!!
